There are lots of tools to reduce stress. In my last blogs I talked about Meditation, Energy Medicine Tinctures, and Emotional Freedom Technique. Here’s another technique: Get factual information out of your head and into an organized system of information.
When you have lots “things” on their mind, it’s likely to cause stress - your thinking can become scattered or confused, you might feel overwhelmed, and have trouble getting anything done.
Get the information out of your head and put it where you can access it, easily, when you want it.
For example,
- If you have projects, schedule them in a calendar.
- Carry a notebook and write things down
- Lots of notes? Organize and file them.
- If you need a reminder, make a note where you can’t miss it
- Schedule in time to meditate, take a walk, play music, or whatever it is that keeps you balanced.
- Don’t forget to schedule time to maintain your system.
Then use your head to focus on the present. You’ll make better choices and feel better too.
